02 · Accommodation

Two suites and ten cabins.

Panoramic suites are published at approximately 24 m² and luxury cabins at approximately 18 m². All include private bathroom facilities. Bed configuration, exact occupancy, extra beds and cots are confirmed before booking.

03 · Dining

Soft all-inclusive hospitality.

Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are included, with bottled water, tea, coffee, juices and soft beverages. Dietary needs should be shared in advance. Alcohol is not served; guests may bring their own.

04 · Families

Children are welcome, with practical care.

Cabin sharing, child rates, cots, extra beds and children’s meals depend on the selected departure and available accommodation. Parents should consider open decks, gangways, steps and uneven shore visits.

05 · Mobility

Honest guidance before booking.

Fatima is a traditional river vessel with gangways, steps and variable mooring access. Archaeological sites and village walks may include uneven ground. Speak with the team before booking so requirements can be assessed accurately.

08 · Payments & Gratuities

Your quotation controls the commercial terms.

A standard 25% deposit is commonly used, but the confirmed quotation states the exact deposit, balance date, currency and transfer fee. Gratuity guidance is approximately €20 per guest per night for the crew and €5–€10 per guest per day for the Egyptologist; gratuities remain voluntary.

Where does Fatima embark?

Southbound journeys generally begin with sightseeing in Luxor and embarkation in Esna. The northbound Dream of the Golden Nile begins in Aswan. Exact meeting points and times are confirmed before travel.

What is included?

All journeys include accommodation aboard Fatima, soft all-inclusive meals and non-alcoholic refreshments, crew service, housekeeping and the scheduled sailing program. Sightseeing, entrance tickets, Egyptologist guiding and private transfers are included only when stated in your quotation.

Is alcohol served?

No. Alcohol is not served aboard Fatima. Guests may bring their own alcoholic drinks, subject to responsible consumption and local regulations.

Can children travel?

Yes, subject to the selected journey and cabin arrangements. Parents should consider open decks, gangways, uneven archaeological terrain and the quiet character of dahabeya travel.

Is the itinerary guaranteed exactly as written?

The route and principal experiences are carefully planned, but wind, water level, Esna lock schedules, permissions and site opening times may change the exact order. The team protects the journey’s quality and key visits wherever possible.

Is Fatima wheelchair accessible?

Fatima is a traditional river vessel with gangways, steps and variable shore access. Many sites also involve uneven ground. Guests with limited mobility should speak with the team before booking so practical requirements can be assessed honestly.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Mobile coverage may be available on parts of the river but can be inconsistent. The journey is designed as an opportunity to disconnect.

Can Fatima be privately chartered?

Yes. All twelve cabins can be reserved for families, friends, celebrations and specialist groups, subject to availability and a tailored quotation.
